#2 - Certified for SoftPOS
Level 2 contactless kernels provided with our SoftPOS SDK have been certified against the specifications edited by global payment schemes for SoftPOS transactions (AKA Tap To Phone, Tap on Phone, Tap on Mobile, Tap To Pay). This new contactless payment method defines the transaction rules when a merchant uses their smartphone as an EMV contactless payment terminal. Alcinéo SoftPOS SDK enables terminal providers, acquirers, fintech and merchants solution providers to deploy SoftPOS app offering many payment options.
#3 - For all payment markets
Alcinéo Kardia payment suite allows terminal manufacturers to build the right solutions and deploy in many payment industry sectors. Our payment software are adapted to different types of transactions to integrate contactless card readers in all areas of EMV payment ecosystem :
- Retail
- Public transport
- Kiosks & vending
- Hospitality
- Gas distribution
#4 - EMV Software quality assessment
Our delivery process includes a quality assessment phase. Internal testing campaigns are performed by our qualified testing team to check that the functional kernels have a correct behavior within the environments of our customers and are ready for official Level 2 Terminal Type Approvals.
#5 - Dedicated tools for testing support
Thanks to our expertise in EMV software development and testing, we have developed a series of tools to help payment solution providers to optimize the integration and certification phases of their devices. Major payment schemes have released automation test plans, enabling laboratories to run automation testing sessions. Terminal vendors need to provide adapted tools to the laboratories for these automated tests. Alcinéo provides Visa and Mastercard automation interface, as well as a the test application required during type approval sessions.
#6 - Optimize payment terminal lifecycle
EMV solutions are approved for a defined period, determined in their Letter of Approval. They must undergo periodical updates to ensure that they still comply with the current specification versions. Alcinéo helps payment terminal providers to manage their product life cycle with regular communications on latest specifications updates and changes, kernel version sunsets or renewal periods.
