Interac® v1.8 available
Interac® contactless specification v1.8 now available
The Canadian based payment scheme has released in February a new version of their contactless specification, v1.8.
The update incorporates the changes listed in the Bulletin #7 issued in May 2020 to reflect transit transaction behavior. It also includes new test cases, an updated ICS version and comes with a new test plan.
Payment solution providers shall align with this updated specification before submitting their product to Interac® type approval.
