EMV® contact level 2 4.3j
EMV® Contact Level 2 version 4.3j now applicable
The EMV Contact Level 2 version 4.3j has been released recently on EMVCo website. The necessary documentation is accessible on the website.
Payment solution providers can now submit payment terminals to functional level 2 type approval with the 4.3j version. During the migration period, both 4.3i or 4.3j test plans can be performed up until March 31st.
Note that 4.3i ICS shall be registered, AND the 4.3i testing session shall have started before this date. After March 31st, all devices must be submitted to Type Approval with the 4.3j ICS and test plan.
